Brockton Woman Dies in Route 24 Crash

RANDOLPH, MA — One woman is dead after a single vehicle crash near Route 24 South.

Just before midnight Sunday, troopers responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on the ramp from Route 93 southbound to Route 24 southbound in Randolph, state police said.

A preliminary investigation from the Massachusetts State Police indicates that a 1997 BMW 330 operated by an adult female went off the ramp and rolled over several times.

The operator was pronounced dead at the scene. She has been identified as Nicole Gillespie, 27, of Brockton.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
