STOUGHTON, MA — After an eight-month investigation, Stoughton police have arrested a Wrentham man they said robbed a Citizens Bank. Joshua Riley, 39, was charged with unarmed robbery.

In August 2019, police were called to the Citizens Bank on Sharon Street after a robbery. Police said they combed the area for days, spoke with residents, and asked if they had any home surveillance that may have picked up the suspect. Officers also sent out pictures to the public, but didn't immediately find the suspect.

A few weeks ago, police got a break in the case. Police said a resident told them they found some items in the woods near their home. According to police, the evidence was enough to issue an arrest warrant for Riley.
