4-Year-Old Sudbury Boy Dies After Vermont Car Crash

The young boy died of his injuries after a car crash in December.

4-year-old Max McCormick of Sudbury was injured in a December crash in Vermont and has died of his injuries.

According to the Associated Press, Vermont State police say they were informed Sunday that Max McCormick died from his injuries at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire.

The accident happened on Dec. 28 in Jamaica, Vermont when the driver of the truck, Michael McCormick, hit a patch of ice, hitting another vehicle. Max was one of four people inside the truck.

According to the Associated Press, police say the boy sustained a severe head injury in the crash but no other injuries were reported. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
