Adorable Foxes Frolic Through Snowy Sudbury Backyard: Report

The cute moment happened during a major winter storm that brought more than 20 inches of snow earlier this week.

SUDBURY, MA — While a lot of people are fed up with the piles of snow from last week’s storm, some cute animals seem to be enjoying it.

An adorable video of two foxes frolicking through a Sudbury backyard during the snowstorm on Jan. 25 has gone viral, after ABC News shared the video taken by Josh Hageman on social media.

It seems that the cute moment also happened during Sunday's 2025 AFC Championship Game, where the Patriots went head-to-head with the Broncos. Hageman went to record the foxes just as Patriots' quarterback Drake Maye scored the team's only touchdown of the game.

After the videographer learned about the touchdown, he said, “Oh, really. Why did he do that? I’m busy filming foxes.”

The game secured the Patriots' spot in the Super Bowl on Feb. 8. Still, the state is also expected to receive another winter storm, which could bring blizzard conditions to parts of Massachusetts this coming weekend.

That's after a major winter storm hit Sudbury and across New England early this week, bringing more than 20 inches of snow.
