SUDBURY, MA — The town is looking for someone to help shape recreation offerings for residents of all ages.
Sudbury is hiring a full-time program coordinator to develop activities and events for adults, youths and children, according to a job posting published Wednesday. The benefits-eligible position is based at the Fairbank Community Center.
The coordinator will work in a facility that includes a pool, gym, multisport courts and classrooms. Sudbury officials said they are seeking an organized and creative candidate with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Typical qualifications include a bachelor's degree in recreation, leisure studies or a related field and three years of recreational facility experience, preferably involving program coordination, according to the town. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be willing to occasionally drive a 12-passenger van. No special license is required.
