Members of the Lincoln, Sudbury and Wayland Communities, please mark your calendars for Friday, October 9th! LS is hosting Wayland for their annual football matchup, but this year they are teaming up for something much bigger than the game.
Both schools are partnering for a joint "Purple Out" to raise awareness for Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP). Our student MVP groups are collaborating to run a stadium fundraiser, carrying on a meaningful tradition historically held at Wayland's home games.
Near the ticket booth, there will be a table featuring purple swag that will include glow sticks, necklaces and bracelets, purple pens, purple Skittles, and more. Donations are also welcome. All funds raised during the night will be donated directly to the Lauren Dunne Astley Memorial Fund to support healthy relationship education. We are also incredibly honored that Lauren's father, Malcolm Astley, will be attending the game to support our student-led efforts.
You can help support this event:
Let's pack the stands, show our school spirit, and stand united against relationship violence. Kickoff is at 7:00 PM at LSRHS, 390 Lincoln Road, Sudbury, MA
