SUDBURY, MA — A Sudbury organization is among 18 to get support for efforts addressing housing, hunger and homelessness across Massachusetts.
Gifts of Hope Unlimited received a grant from the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS Charitable Foundation, which awarded $27,000 to 18 charities this fall.
The Sudbury-based nonprofit supports those impacted by relationship violence. The organization provides financial assistance, home resources and community-focused initiatives.
The charitable foundation says the grants are meant to support work addressing housing, hunger or homelessness in their communities.
"These grants reflect our commitment as REALTORS® to caring for the communities we call home," Christina Silva, chair of the foundation's board of trustees, said in the announcement. "We are proud to support local charities whose dedication brings hope, vital resources, and meaningful support to individuals and families when they need it most."
Founded in 1991, the foundation has awarded more than $800,000 for housing, homelessness, hunger and disaster relief programs across Massachusetts.
