Anti-Muslim Statement Written in Bathroom at Lincoln-Sudbury High School
Breaking: "On this very cold day, let us find the warmth in our hearts and the strength in our minds and bodies to say no to hate."

SUDBURY, MA — An anti-Muslim sentiment was written on the wall of a bathroom stall at Lincoln-Sudbury High School on Thursday.
According to an email sent out to families of the Lincoln-Sudbury School system from Superintendent/Principal Bella Wong, one of the school's students notified campus aides that someone had written the comment in the bathroom.
"We are a school where the core values of respecting human differences, fostering caring and cooperative relationships, pursuing academic excellence, and cultivating community are at the center of all that we do," wrote Wong.

Wong said that that graffiti has since been erased and "as a school community we renounce the bigotry it expressed. On this very cold day, let us find the warmth in our hearts and the strength in our minds and bodies to say no to hate, and yes to treating all people as we would like to be treated ourselves: with tolerance, kindness, and respect."
