'A Baby Changes Everything': Our Lady of Fatima Releases Anniversary CD

This year, Sudbury’s Our Lady of Fatima celebrates its 60th anniversary. And they wanted to celebrate in a big way with the whole community.

Some 75 people, with ages ranging from 6 to 66 and older, participating in the recording of the church’s fifth CD.

Called “A Baby Changes Everything,” the recording is filled with “amazing music to celebrate the Christmas season.”

“For the past 15 years (since 2000), the church has a track record of creating a new album every few years,” said Catherine Allen, a spokesperson for the church. “Our Lady of Fatima Parish’s first CD was an outgrowth of the parish’s Lightstream teen band. From there, the CD projects grew in complexity and parish involvement.”

The CD includes ten tracks ranging from traditional to contemporary, including original orchestrations made specifically for this CD.
