Board Notes: Vocation School Proposals, Blue Ribbon Committee Established
The town manager highlighted some recent major agenda items tackled by the Sudbury Board of Selectmen.

The board discussed at length in a meeting on Feb. 24 Sudbury’s membership in the Minuteman High School District. The Vocation Education Options Committee presented a report of its findings, and several articles for vocation options were proposed for Town Meeting, said Town Manager Maureen Valente in her monthly newsletter.

At the March 10 meeting, the Town Hall Blue Ribbon Committee voted in its mission statement to establish this new committee, which is seeking volunteers to fill two seats. The Blue Ribbon Committee concentrates on finding a use for the Town Hall in the future.

Request for Proposals to select a firm to look for the town’s new town manager is open. The deadline is April 2. The town hopes to appoint someone by the end of September.
