The Muses Among Us: A Celebration of Local Authors

Athina Books will celebrate the vibrant literary community of the MetroWest area with The Muses Among Us: A Celebration of Local Authors, a weekend-long event taking place Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, at Athina Books in Sudbury.

The event will bring together local authors and readers for a weekend of books, conversation, and community. Participating authors include Michael Daigle, Kate Blair, Leta Serafim, Inbal Alon, John Mulhern, and Tilia Klebenov Jacobs.

Throughout the weekend, authors will be on hand to sell and sign their books, giving readers a chance to meet the people behind the stories, learn more about their work, and discover books by local authors.

The weekend will also feature a panel discussion on Sunday, September 27 at 11:00 a.m., before the bookstore opens. Moderated by Athina Books owner Katina Fontes, the panel will bring together up to three local authors for a conversation about the writing process and the challenges of publishing. The discussion will give aspiring and established writers a chance to hear about the realities of taking a book from idea to publication.

The Muses Among Us will take place during Athina Books’ regular business hours on Saturday, September 26, and from noon to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 27. The Sunday author panel begins at 11:00 a.m.
