Accessible Trick-or-Treat
Saturday, October 31 | 5:00–7:00 PM
Meadowbrook Circle & Meadowbrook Road, Sudbury

All children and families are invited to join Sudbury neighbors and the Town of Sudbury Commission on Disability for its fourth annual Accessible Trick-or-Treat, a community Halloween celebration designed so that more children can participate and enjoy the fun.

Everyone is welcome! The event includes some simple accessibility features that can make traditional trick-or-treating easier for children with disabilities, food allergies, sensory needs, and other accessibility needs, including:

- Accessible treat stations at or near the end of driveways
- Edible and non-edible treat choices
- A sensory-conscious environment without strobe lights or sudden high-pitched noises
- Inclusive communication; there is no requirement to say “trick or treat” or “thank you”
- A welcoming experience for all ages and abilities

No registration is required, and costumes are welcome but not required. Come anytime between 5:00 and 7:00 PM.

Please bring a bag or bucket and consider bringing a flashlight, as the neighborhood does not have streetlights.

Parking: Please park only on the side of the street without a sidewalk so the sidewalk remains clear and accessible for children and families.

Questions? Contact the Sudbury Commission on Disability at disability@sudbury.ma.us or 978-639-3265.
