Canines Go for the Gold in Sudbury
Sudbury Doggy Olympics hosted by Best Friends Pet Care.

London isn’t the only town celebrating the Olympic spirit: Sudbury locals are taking home gold medals in the relay, high jump and special events like diving for nylabones.
That's because the staff at Best Friend Pet Care in Sudbury is hosting the Summer 2012 Doggy Olympic Games this week, much to the delight of the canines in their care.

"Dog love to run, jump and wrestle so we decided to plan an Olympics day for our doggy day camp regulars," said Liz Gill-Cano of . "The best part of canine competition is that dogs don't care if they win or lose — they just love playing the games!"
In fact, every dog took home a medal in at least one event, which included wrestling, water polo, tunnel chase, army crawl, frisbee, hurdles and even cheerleading, for those who preferred to watch from the sidelines.
