Carty, Matthews For Lincoln-Sudbury School Committee: Letter

We applaud all the people stepping forward to help our schools and town this election season and understand how large of a commitment it is to volunteer to help your town and schools.

We have known Maura Carty and Kevin Matthews personally for a long time. We know them as parents, friends and longtime active members of our community. They are involved because they are caring parents and they want the best for our schools. They have volunteered countless hours of their time over the years. Knowing them as well as we do we trust them to maintain and improve, if possible, the academic standards and the overall experience at LS. What we know best about Maura and Kevin and the main reason we decided to endorse them is because: They are open to feedback. They are open-minded and reasonable. They are approachable. They will listen to teachers, parents and students and they will do their best to support our teachers and our students. LS is a great academic institution and we know Maura and Kevin and we trust them to continue the standards we expect.
