Coronavirus 'Mutual Aid Network' Set Up In Sudbury, Lincoln
The group set up by Lincoln-Sudbury High School grads aims to connect residents with help in the community.

SUDBURY, MA — As residents across the state retreat into their homes to practice social distancing or to self-quarantine due to the new coronavirus, community volunteers are stepping up to help people get through trying times.
In Lincoln and Sudbury, a group of local residents have started up a "mutual aid network" as a way to deliver help to anyone who needs it.
The Lincoln-Subdury Mutual Aid Network was started as a Facebook group, and the group has launched a Google web form to take requests for help. The group is also using the Google form to find volunteers who can perform task like deliver groceries or provide support to someone who has lost a job.

In less than a week, Massachusetts residents have seen an enormous shift in everyday life due to the spread of COVID-19. Schools are now closed across the state until at least early April, and bars and restaurants will stop offering dine-in service beginning on Tuesday.
Sudbury has so far seen one presumptive positive COVID-19 case. All town buildings are set to close at 4 p.m. on Monday, including town hall, the Goodnow Library, the Department of Public Works, and the Fairbank Community Center and Senior Center.
