Crash In Sudbury May Disrupt School Release

A Thursday morning crash along Pratts Mills Road left a utility pole badly damaged, according to police.

SUDBURY, MA — Curtis Middle School parents may encounter some delays Thursday afternoon due to a crash along Pratts Mill Road.

Before 11 a.m. on Thursday, an SUV crashed into a utility pole near 170 Pratts Mill Road, which is just northwest of the middle school.

Sudbury police had to close that part of the road to allow utility crews to repair the pole. Police warned that school buses and drivers may experience delays during school release on Thursday.

No one was injured in the crash, police said. The crash left about 41 people in the area without power on Thursday afternoon, according to a state outage map.
