Defending Boys Hockey Champion Wilmington too Much for L-S

The Warriors' run in the North Division 2 postseason came to an end in the semifinal round on Monday with a 6-0 loss.

The Lincoln-Sudbury boys hockey team put together an impressive run to earn the No. 2 seed in the North Division 2 postseason and play its way to the bracket semifinal. On Monday night, however, that run came to a sudden halt.

Defending state champion Wilmington dominated every phase of the semifinal tilt at Chelmsford Forum, pouncing early and often for a 6-0 victory that eliminated the Warriors from the postseason.

Following its first-round bye, Lincoln-Sudbury snuck past Winthrop with a 4-3 shootout win in the North quarterfinal.
