Document Northborough in Photographs for Future Generations

The Historical Society is holding a contest as part of the town's anniversary.

NORTHBOROUGH, MA—As part of the town's 250th anniversary celebration, the Northborough Historical Society is sponsoring a photo contest. The purpose is to document life of the town for future generations. Photographs submitted for the contest are judged in October of this year and then displayed at the society building.

A prize will be offered for the best photograph for each of the following categories, and a people's choice also will be awarded based on popular votes.

1. Buildings (inside and out)

2. Sights and Scenes (streets, landscapes, traffic, etc.)

3. Northborough at Play (leisure-time activities, sports, recreation, parades, concerts, etc.)

4. Northborough at Work (construction, farming, town government, DPW, fire, police, building maintenance, etc.)

5. Northborough People (family gatherings, etc.)Photographs must be of a Northborough scene that was taken in 2015-2016.
