After the tragic events of 9/11, people in Sudbury were moved to take action to help others in need. HOPEsudbury was born – a diverse group of residents, town employees and business people – working as a community to help those in need of support, encouragement, and financial assistance.
For 15 years, HOPEsudbury has been able to carry on this mission, both at home and abroad, through the generosity of our community.
The HOPE Fund provides short-term emergency financial support for Sudbury residents who have fallen on hard times. Over the past 15 years, we distributed close to $500,000 to hundreds of Sudbury families who have experienced financial emergencies. Whether it be a utility bill, an uncovered medical expense, or assisting with a rent/mortgage payment, The HOPE Fund can help.

Through our 2016 Beyond our Borders giving program, we provided funds to 8 non-profit organizations - locally, nationally and internationally – working to nourish the bodies, souls and minds of under-resourced youth.
We HOPE you’ll consider supporting these families and programs by making a tax deductible contribution to HOPEsudbury. Your generosity will make a big difference in the lives of many.
