Mass Save is sponsored by Massachusetts gas and electric utilities and energy service providers and is available to both homeowners and renters.

After you sign-up, we will contact you to schedule a time for your home energy assessment that is convenient for you (Monday-Saturday).

The no-cost Mass Save home energy assessment provides:

  • No-cost energy efficient light bulbs
  • No-cost programmable thermostats
  • No-cost water saving devices
  • Report with recommendations, such as:
  • No-cost Air Sealing
  • Instant Insulation Incentive of 75% off, up to $2,000 a year

The Mass Save Home Energy Services Program also provides rebates and a 0% interest loan for replacing inefficient refrigerators, single-pane windows, air-conditioning, hot water and heating equipment.

Only through the end of July 2012, there are larger temporary rebates for replacing 30+ year old boilers, with rebates ranging from $1,750 to $4,000.  Your no-cost Mass Save home energy assessment is required to determine if your boiler qualifies.
