Bird Identification for Beginners

Instructor: SVT Executive Director Ron McAdow- a novice birder for thirty years. This three-session mini-course will teach beginners how to identify birds commonly seen in Eastern Massachusetts, west of Boston. In the two evening sessions, participants will practice identifying birds from slides. On Saturday morning, we will take our new skills into the field to try them out on real birds. Members: $20, Non-Members: $35 (Includes Sibley Field Guide to Birds; $20 less if you already have a copy). For those wishing to attend the Heard Farm birding program without the classes: Members: Free, Non-Members: $10
