Come See What's Buzzing at Goodnow Library

At the Oct. 13 meeting of the Sudbury Garden Club, President of the Norfolk County Beekeepers Association Tony Lulek will discuss the basics of beekeeping, the impact honeybees have on our world and the impact our world is having on bees. 

Lulek has been a beekeeper for six years. He currently has 10 hives. He will talk about the internal workings of the hive, bee biology, hive products and the challenges of managing bees in today's environment.

Lulek  is also gardens and collects plants and owns a honey-products business that sells hand-made soaps, lotions, candles and honey candy.

The meeting starts at 9:45 a.m. with refreshments being served in the community room at the Goodnow Library on Concord Road.
