The 2010-2011 concert series at MCC kicks off with a program of choral and instrumental chamber music of the great 20th century French composer Francis Poulenc. MCC welcomes back some favorite musicians who have played with the MCC Festival Orchestra over the years: bassoonist Jason Caron, flutist Kristine Kirby, and oboist Sandra Ayres. We also welcome newcomers Michelle Gorgone on clarinet and Lucy Colwell on French horn. Together this ensemble goes by the name Sudbury/Hudson Chamber Players.
Also appearing will be members of the MCC Senior Choir: Lynn Connor, Heidi Dowd, Jeannette McLellan, Kim Ward, Cathy Meyer, and Becky Hall.
