Memorial Congregational Church completes its concert season on with a festival of music of the great French composer Gabriel Faure. The concert is a major choral collaboration with the choirs of the Edwards Church of Framingham directed by Rick Seaholm, and of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Malden, directed by Kurt Glacy.
The MCC Spring Festival Orchestra and Chorus with soloists John Whittlesey and Rebekah Alexander will perform Faure's Requiem.
John Whittlesey will sing the short cycle Poeme d'un Jour, accompanied by MCC member Jeannette McLellan. Rebekah Alexander, with her accompanist Molly Wood, will perform Four Songs, Op. 39. The MCC Spring Festival Chorus will sing Tantum Ergo and Cantique de Jean Racine, directed by Cathy Meyer, with Kurt Glacy on the organ, and Boston-based harpist Michele Pinet.

The program concludes with Requiem, bringing together all the forces of the MCC Spring Festival Orchestra, the MCC Spring Festival Chorus, soloists Whittlesey and Alexander, directed by Rick Seaholm of the Edwards Church, and with Cathy Meyer playing the organ.
