Finish with a Smile: Scandinavian Design Event

Help raise money for SMILEMass and learn how Scandinavian design can add a modern flair to your home and even open up small living spaces.

Join interior designer Lysa Wilkins of Wayland as she showcases various Scandinavian design elements – materials, fabrics, woods, color, furnishings, lighting and accessories.

See faux wall finishers Amiel and Stephanie Mesner from Arteriors of Natick demonstrate the application of a transitional Scandinavian color palette — from brocade wall patterns for traditional effects to a combination of textures and sheens with raw silk, metallic and pearlescent finishes.

SwedArt founder Margareta Lidskog of Concord will add the finishing touch to any attire with her HOT and sought after Lapland jewelry collection — unique bracelets and necklaces handcrafted by indigenous Sami artisans from Sweden.

Margareta will graciously donate a portion of her jewelry sales to SMILEMass, a non-profit organization headquartered in Sudbury that provides handicapped accessible vacation rentals on Cape Cod for families with members who have disabilities.

Swedish desserts and beverages including Glögg will be served.
