DO YOU HAVE A GREAT PUMPKIN RECIPE?
The GREAT PUMPKIN CONTEST will be October 1st at the Wayside Inn’s Farmer’s Market.
The Sudbury Agricultural Commission would like you to bring your choice bake good and recipe for judging. Bring by noon to the Wayside Inn’s Farmer’s Market.
The commission gave out pumpkin & sunflower seeds in the Spring. We want to see how your pumpkin &/or sunflower grew. If you grew one from other seeds you can bring that one. The sunflower does not have to be in bloom, bring the seed head.
The pumpkin & sunflower contest is from 11 AM to 1 PM, so come early.
There will be prizes for the pumpkins, sunflowers, & baked goods. The 4-H petting zoo, games, food, the farmer’s market and much more will be there for all to enjoy. Bring your camera. It is free to all.
DATE: Saturday October 1 2011
PLACE: Wayside Inn’s Farmer’s Market across the street from the Wayside Inn.
TIME: 10 AM to 2:30 PM
