“Great Scot! It's Andrew Carnegie”, an impersonation by Richard Clark

Scottish-born American industrialist Andrew Carnegie is coming to the Goodnow Library at the invitation of the Friends of the Goodnow Library  and the Sudbury Community Arts Center (SCAC)!

Everyone is invited to meet the man known as – “King of Steel” and “the richest man in the world,” but also “the greatest little devil that ever lived.” There's no charge to meet and greet the man who gave away billions of dollars to build thousands of libraries all over the United States.

Actor Richard Clark of Boylston will be impersonating Carnegie (1835-1919). Mr. Clark has been giving one-person shows for libraries, schools, and other audiences for a number of years.  His presentations are based on research he has done from biographies, autobiographies, personal letters, books, etc.  Some of Clark's other personae include Mark Twain, Clarence Darrow, and William Shakespeare.
