What role does stress play in substance use/abuse in adolescents? How can we as parents, teachers and caregivers strengthen our protective factors to keep kids safe and drug-free? How should we talk to children about alcohol, drugs and setting limits? Will Slotnick, who will be working with Sudbury Public School students and staff this spring, will help parents sort through these issues and provide up-to-date information on alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, and warning signs of use and abuse. Will Slotnick is the founder & director of Wellness Collaborative, an organization dedicated to promoting health and preventing addiction in private and public school communities. Will has worked as a substance abuse prevention and wellness specialist for over 20 years, and has provided education programs and consulting services to thousands of students, parents, faculty and administrators at hundreds of schools across the United States.
