Kids Program - Film Double Feature with Craft

Friends of the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge presents two fascinating documentary films and a green craft.

At 10:30 AM, Friends will show Earth Days (2010). The film documents the growing awareness and understanding of the environmental crisis and emergence of a movement to confront it (running time: 120 minutes).

At 12:30 PM, refuge staff will teach kids how to make the own reusable bag. Bring your own supplies — a needle, thread and pillowcase or old t-shirt.

At 1:30 PM, Friends will show of Earth (2007). The film is a feature-length version of the documentary TV series Planet Earth (running time: 90 minutes).
