This FREE event will showcase the behind-the-scenes preparations as one of the area's premiere ballet school's hosts this open rehearsal. Geared for ages 2-adult, this hour long event will feature the beautiful sets, costumes, music and dance of this holiday classic.
Meg Powers, director of Mass Ballet, will provide an overview of how this winter favorite is produced and what it takes to become a featured dancer at this level.
Children who attend will receive a Nutracker craft and will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with the Sugar Plum Fairy, Clara and their friends. Children are encouraged to wear festive attire as they have the wonderful opportunity to experience how ballerina dreams come true!!
