Sudbury resident musician Paul Anthony Rodriguez will perform at the Harvest Cafe in Hudson on May 21, 2011 at 8 p.m. Paul has been a part of the local music scene for a few years. He is originally from the Los Angeles area where he performed both as a solo and with various bands.
Paul, 57, has been a musician since the age of 10 when his father won a guitar in a poker game and asked Paul if he wanted to take guitar lessons. Since then, Paul has performed in many venues across the country and Europe. He has also written the score for a Charlie Brown TV Special back in 1986.
Paul's style includes the "music of his life" which covers the great music of the 60s and 70s with a few from the past couple of decades. "I think I slept through the 80s," explains the vocalist/guitarist. Paul brings a special style of singing and engaging guitar work to each song. "I try to look for something special I can bring to any song I sing, whether it's the entire arrangement or a simple twist."

Audiences enjoy not only the music but the aura Paul brings to a performance. "I like to think of the audience as guests in my home and we're all just sitting around having a great time." Paul will also be the featured performer on July 25 for the Sudbury Summer Concert Series this year.
