Reading Therapy Dogs — March Visits!

Benson, a certified therapy dog, will be visiting the Children’s Room every Tuesday in March at 4 pm! Children must sign-up in advance to read to Benson.  Each reading visit will be for 15 minutes, just enough time for Benson to enjoy a short story or the beginning chapter of a book.  Children will increase their self-confidence and become excited about reading by reading to Benson!

Benson and his owner Kim O’Konis, are both certified by the Pets and People Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to helping people through pet assisted therapy.

In addition, Benson's friend Atticus, will be here on Manday, March 19 and Monday, March 26 at 5 pm
