Shir Appeal - Tufts University's A Capella Group

Congregation Beth El of Sudbury is pleased to host Shir Appeal, Tufts University’s co-ed Jewish a capella group on April 8th. The performance of Jewish and Israeli music will take place following Shabbat Services at 9:00 pm. Services begin at 8:00. All are welcome, and there is no charge. An Oneg Shabbat (refreshments) will be served following the performance.

Anna Burgess, Shir Appeal’s Business Manager, is excited about the opportunity to perform at Congregation Beth El. “Shir Appeal is very unique, as we are Tufts' only co-ed Jewish a cappella group. We've been around for about 15 years, and we've really tried to reach out to members of the Jewish community, but also people who might just be fans of Israeli music. The group is really about combining our love of music and performing with our appreciation for Jewish culture, which is why we sing both in English and Hebrew. We genuinely love entertaining our audiences, and our goal is for them to have fun watching us!”
