Sudbury for Wounded Warriors Golf Tournament

A little more than a year ago Sudbury residents, Brendan Mahoney and Bob Haarde decided to organize Sudbury for Wounded Warriors (SWW), a charity to benefit our nations severely injured soldiers. This 501(c)(3) organization, which has blossomed to include several other individuals in town, was founded to provide a vehicle for raising both funds and awareness benefitting organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project that honor and empower wounded warriors. Funds raised by SWW are used exclusively to generate awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of service men and women severely injured during the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations around the world; help severely injured service members aid and assist each other; and provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs. In an effort to accomplish this goal, SWW is holding its second annual golf tournament at 11:30 on October 22nd, 2012 at the Charter Oak Country Club.
