SUDBURY SAVOYARDS 9TH ANNUAL FALL CRAFT FAIR

The Sudbury Savoyards will be holding its ninth annual Fall Craft Fair on Oct. 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at . The church has plenty of parking and is handicapped accessible.

The Fair is part of the Savoyards' fundraising efforts for the Relief of World Hunger.

Co-Chaired by Andrea and Donna Roessler of Framingham, local crafters and artisans include Framingham residents Judie Beatrice of Auntie Judie’sBoutique, Susan Zabinskie with Two Orange Cats Jewelry, and Jane Mason with Miss Jane’s Fashions. Sudbury residents participating include Kathy Lague of Isobel’s Legacy presenting hand-quilted wall hangings and runners, Marge Langmuir of Orion Arts with metalwork, enameling, jewelry, plates and bowls hand-forged from copper, and Susan Lingley with hand-crafted glass, stone, crystal and pearl jewelry.

Other crafters include Wayland residents Jan Howland of Just Jan Jewelry with jewelry made from hardware, Janet Voovarka & Nancy Thompson with hand-painted silk scarves, and Debra Bell of Knit & Rip with hand-crocheted baby items, scarves, hats, & mittens as well as holiday gifts. 

Dana Farmer of Marlborough will debut his hand-made wooden furniture and home décor items, Ted Carvahlo of Stow will feature pottery and other ceramic items, as well as Danielle King of Bolton with Plumpkins, Liz Field of Acton with art cards and prints, and Harvard residents Lily Baddour of Baddour Designs and Meghan Rooney of M.E.R. Joolz.

Additional crafters and items this year include hand-crafted jewelry of many different kinds including beads, crystals, fused glass, Swarovski and sterling, placemats, table runners, pillows, dichroic, fused and stained glass items, hand-made soy candles, hand-knitted children’s sweaters, hats, shawls and afghans, fleece clothing and baby items, dolls and doll clothes, holiday items including ornaments, decorations, wreaths, and tree skirts, silk and dried floral arrangements, hand-painted silk scarves,  kiln-formed glass items, stationery, mosaics, beds, toys and clothing for pets, hand-painting on wood, tin and furniture, and handcrafted pewter. 

Food items include herbs and spices, home-made jams and honey products, catnip, jellies, and pickles.

Also featured is the very popular Home-Baked Goodies Table with cakes, cookies, breads, bars, muffins, and other home-made delectable items.

Admission to the fair is free, however donations are gratefully accepted.

All the proceeds from the Bake Table and the Crafter’s Space Fees are donated to the Relief of World Hunger.  As The Sudbury Savoyards celebrate their 50th anniversary this year, they have successfully donated over $200,000 to this worthy cause.
