Sudbury Womans Club October 20th Meeting

The Sudbury Woman's Club will hold its first meeting of the club's 102nd year on Thursday, October 20, 2011  at the Goodnow Library's Community Room.  A light lunch will be served at noon followed by a brief business meeting before the introduction of our October speaker, Ms Devik Wyman, owner of Mango Tree in Rugged Bear Plaza who will educate, enlighten and entertain us about handcrafts and jewelry with a Fair Trade focus.

The club meets monthly from October to May on the third Thursday with most of the meetings at the Goodnow Library.  Its mission is to provide women with a means for philanthropy; they award a scholarship to a graduating senior from the Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School and make donations to various local causes, such as, the Food Pantry and Hospice at Parmenter.

Local women are invited to attend our next meeting; the Goodnow Library (parking is available at the rear)  which is located at 21 Concord Road  in Sudbury, just off the Boston Post Road (#US 20) in the town's business center.
