TED Talks
The Goodnow Library will host a 3-session forum using the popular internet-based TED talks as a catalyst for group discussion. TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a non-profit organization devoted to “Ideas worth spreading”. The talks, presented by highly accomplished professionals in their fields, range on a wide variety of subjects.
The forum will meet for three one-hour sessions and will include viewing two or three talks followed by group discussion. The talks for each session will be selected to deal approximately with the same subject, possibly offering opposing opinions or points of view. The moderator of the forum will be Ted Bially, a long-term Sudbury resident who relishes a lively discussion. The forum will meet October 11, 18, and 25 from 7-8 PM in the Goodnow Library.
