Dr. Lawrence Lowenthal recently retired National Senior Advisor to the American Jewish Committee, in partnership with Sage Educational Services.  Dr. Lowenthal’s wide-ranging experience includes serving a tour of duty in the Israeli army, teaching English and American Literature at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and offering a variety of courses in the Greater Boston area on Jewish history, film, literature, and humor.  Dr. Lowenthal received his PhD. in English from New York University.
