This Week at MCC - Good Friday Vigil

On Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday, no matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome at MCC.  MCC members and visitors, infants, toddlers, teens, parents, senior citizens, hearing- and sight-impaired, athletes, musicians, and anyone else who wishes recognize the Last Supper, Jesus Christ’s supreme sacrifice, and finally His glorious resurrection on Easter Day are welcome!

Holy Week began at MCC on Palm Sunday, celebrating the procession of the King into Jerusalem on a donkey, where His way was guided by the palms and cloaks lain on the ground by the people.

MCC opens its doors for the Good Friday vigil from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  All worshippers are welcome to enter the sanctuary any time during the vigil, and to stay as long as desired. “We will reach deep down into our hearts, connecting with the loss and emptiness that Jesus' friends felt at the time of his death”, Rev. Tom O’Brien explains.   Quiet music will be offered continuously throughout the vigil, performed by MCC pianists Jeannette McLellan and Elizabeth deLucia, and guitarist Dave McLellan.
