
Free Youth Wrestling Clinic - September 17th
There will be a free wrestling clinic for all Lincoln and Sudbury students from Grade 1-8 September 17 from 12:30-2:00 PM at Pride Group Fitness - 31 Union Avenue in Sudbury.
The clinic is appropriate for ALL elementary and middle school students (no prior wrestling experience necessary) and will be run by current LS Wrestling coach Eddie Murray. The event is sponsored by the Friends of Sudbury Wrestling.

Schedule - 12:30 to 2:00 PM
- Warm up for wrestling: jumping rope, bridging, and shadow wrestling
- Neutral fundamentals: stance, hand fighting, set ups and three shot (Single Leg, Double Leg, High C) drills
- Bottom fundamentals: hand control, stand ups
- Top fundamentals: break downs, half, arm bar
- If time, 1 or 2 live matches
Proper attire is wrestling shoes (if available), gym shorts and T-shirt.

About Coach Murray: Eddie is the current wrestling coach at Lincoln-Sudbury and a 2004 NCAA All-American from Ursinus College where he had been ranked as high as second nationally. While at Ursinus, he was an Academic All-American, a 4x national qualifier and 4x Centennial Conference champion. Prior to LS, he has coached high school wrestling for state champion Absegami High School in South Jersey, as well as coaching wrestling to all ages and abilities in both Australia and Denmark.
