Free Youth Wrestling Clinic - May 15

 There will be a free wrestling clinic May 15 at Pride Group Fitness - 31 Union Avenue in Sudbury - for all Sudbury and Lincoln students between Grades 1-8.  Both experienced and first-time wrestlers are encourage to attend.  

The event is being sponsored by Friends of Sudbury Wrestling and  will run from 12:30-2:00 PM.

The clinic will be run by LS Wrestling coach Eddie Murray.  Eddie is a 2004 NCAA All-American from Ursinus College. He has been ranked as high as second nationally. Earning Academic All-American honors while being a 4x national qualifier and 4x centennial conference champion, Prior to LS, he has coached high school wrestling for state champion Absegami High School in South Jersey, as well as coaching wrestling to all ages and abilities in both Australia and Denmark. 

Schedule  - 12:30 to 2:00 PM: 
- Warm up for wrestling: jumping rope, bridging, and shadow wrestling
- Neutral fundamentals: stance, hand fighting, set ups and three shot (Single, Double, High C) drills
- Bottom fundamentals: hand control, stand ups
- Top fundamentals: break downs, half, arm bar
- If time, 1 or 2 live matches
