According to FreeTarek.com, Mehanna plans to speak during his sentencing.
Since being arrested in 2009, he has been held at Plymouth County Correctional Facility.
Mehanna will likely be moved to a federal facility after his sentencing.
His defense is expected to argue in appeal that the jury was scared by repeated and irrelevant references to Osama bin Laden and the Sept. 11 attacks.
