First Look Inside: New Asian Market Opens In Sudbury Crossing

SUDBURY, MA — A new destination for Asian groceries has opened in Sudbury.
Formosa Asian Market is now open at Sudbury Crossing, located at 435 Boston Post Road. The 5,350-square-foot market is known for its wide selection of specialty Asian groceries, including fresh produce and pantry staples.
“The Sudbury and surrounding communities have expressed a strong interest in having greater access to authentic Asian grocery items,” Marci Alvarado of Commercial Property Advisors said in a social media post announcing the store's opening in 2025.

Alvarado said Formosa was thrilled to bring its "full-service grocery experience" to Sudbury Crossing and become a part of the neighborhood.

The business had plans to open in Fall 2025, but the opening was delayed due to the owners updating the building plans, according to the town's Board of Health.

Formosa Market first operated in Framingham on Route 9, where it first opened in 2013, Patch reported. However, the Framingham location closed in 2024.
Current store hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The business is closed on Mondays, according to a posting on the storefront.
