1. CLASSES & LECTURES: Add Pizzazz to Your shade garden

Are you up to the challenge of finding plants that will add pizzazz to the shady areas of your garden? Learn about the different kinds of shade and which plants, shade-loving trees, shrubs, ornamental grasses and fabulous perennials, are best suited to each type at the meeting of the Sudbury Garden Club. 

Suzanne Mahler is an avid gardener, photographer and lecturer. She has given presentations at the Arnold Arboretum, the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, Tower Hill Botanic Garden and the New England Spring Flower Show. She has served on the boards of several horticultural organizations including the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts.

3. CLASSES & LECTURES: Teen Tech Day

Make an appointment to meet one of the amazing Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School students.

Two students volunteer each month to help with computer, cell phone or other technical issues. Due to popular demand, this month will also offer a focus on Facebook again. There will be two time slots, either 2 or 3 p.m., for one hour. Should the demand for Facebook help be less than anticipated, help with other issues may be offered.

The Lincoln-Sudbury softball team hits the diamond for a home game against Bedford. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
