Officers from the will join the to share tips on staying safe in the community and at home. Get your questions answered and hear the scoop on some local stories.

2. FAMILY: Author visit at Goodnow Library

Bring your kids to Goodnow Library for a special reading of David Rottenberg's picture book Gwendolyn the Graceful Pig about a pig who wants to dance.

Charming illustrations and text make this story a hit with girls and boys. The story will come to life with a performance by the Mass Ballet Company. Children will be invited to dance with the performers at the end of the storytelling.

3. CLASSES & LECTURES: Cooking for your pet

Learn how easy and economically you can cook healthy, well balanced food for your animals from ingredients you can easily find. Class will be held at First Parish of Sudbury, Unitarian Universalist from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Preregistration required. Cost is $35, which includes materials and ingredients.

4. SPORTS & RECREATION: Sudbury Women's Softball League

Need to exercise?  Want to have fun doing it? 

Join the Sudbury Women's Softball League. 

If you love to play softball, this is your league. The games are played every Thursday night from 6-8 p.m. at Feeley Field on Raymond Road in Sudbury.

First games are tonight.

Season ends on Aug 30. The cost is $80 for spring and summer or $50 each for both. All levels of play welcomed.
