The re-election kickoff event for State Rep. Tom Conroy will be held at the home of Robin and Steve Gunderson, 95 Fox Run Road, from 7-9 p.m.

Do you watch SudburyTV? Do you have an idea for your own TV show? Are you interested in local meetings, events, and sports in town?
No matter what your age or skill level, SudburyTV offers training in the basics of television video production in a hands-on environment. Students will develop an understanding of television production both in the studio and on location.

Topics include:
- Studio and portable camera operation
- Sound
- Graphics
- Directing a multi-camera production
- Introduction to digital editing using Final Cut Pro.
Classes meet Thursdays until April 5 from 7-9 p.m., and are held in the SudburyTV studio, located at , Room A207. Classes are open to all Sudbury residents, free of charge. This class requires a minimum of six participants, maximum 10.

3. AWARENESS: D.A.R.E. graduations
According to Sudbury Police Officer Rocky Conrado, Nixon Elementary School will host the D.A.R.E. graduation at 9:15 a.m.
4. ORGANIZATIONS: Sudbury Womans Club meeting
The Sudbury Womans Club will feature Sudbury resident Rebecca Chizzo, founder of Sudbury Weed Education and Eradication Team (S.W.E.E.T.), today at at 8 a.m. She will speak about invasive plants, which are a major problem in Massachusetts.
Chizzo is focusing on educating homeowners, to get people to pull and cut the weeds around their own property.
The club meets monthly from October to May on the third Thursday with most of the meetings at Goodnow Library. Its mission is to provide women with a means for philanthropy and they award a scholarship.
5. ART & ENTERTAINMENT: 'Race to Nowhere'
The Wellness Policy Committee at is proud to sponsor a screening of “Race to Nowhere,” a powerful documentary that looks closely at our education system and at the pressure it puts on our children and families.
The screening will be held at 7 p.m. at the Lincoln-Sudbury auditorium. The film will be followed by a facilitated discussion as well as a follow-up discussion the next week on Thursday, March 22 at 7 p.m. in the lecture hall at the high school.
This is a film every parent should see and the Wellness Policy Committee encourages parents to see it with their student(s). All parents are encouraged to attend; you don’t need to have a student at L-S.
Tickets may be purchased on-line in advance at www.rtnlincolnsudburyma.eventbrite.com. Tickets are $10 for an adult and $5 for students and teachers. Remaining seats will be sold at the door for $15. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of tickets will be used for special enrichment programs related to health and wellness. Past local showings have sold out so purchasing in advance is highly recommended.
Light dinner items will be available for purchase in the L-S cafeteria beginning at 6 p.m. prior to the screening.
