Author Brian Plumb to sign new book at Wayside Inn.

1. ART & ENTERTAINMENT: Book signing

Come to Longfellow's Wayside Inn for a book signing with author Brian Plumb to celebrate the release of author Brian Plumb's new book, "A History of Longfellow's Wayside Inn."

Plumb will make a short presentation beginning at 7 p.m., and then be available to personally sign copies of his book. Complimentary light refreshments will be served.

2. ORGANIZATIONS: Annual book and bake sale

The Friends of Goodnow Library will hold its annual book and bake sale today (9 a.m.-4 p.m.), tomorrow (9 a.m.-4 p.m.) and Sunday (2 p.m.-4 p.m.) in the Community Meeting Room at .

Admission is free and all are invited to stop by and stock up on fantastic reads at incredible prices.  

The sale also will also feature delectable treats made by Sudbury’s finest home bakers. All proceeds from this sale support the programs and resources of the Library.

3. ART & ENTERTAINMENT: Story time

Friday story times at are for kids ages 2 1/2 and older and take place at 10:30 a.m.

All are welcome to drop in and join the fun.

4. SPORTS & RECREATION: Dodgeball

Head over to Giorgio's Health and Fitness at 6:15 p.m. for a night of dodgeball and pizza.

Cost is $10 per kid for members and $15 per kid for non-members. Kids ages 6 and older are welcome.
