3. MUSIC: Shir Appeal concert
of Sudbury will host Shir Appeal, Tufts University’s co-ed Jewish A Capella group today at 9 p.m. The performance of Jewish and Israeli music will take place following Shabbat Services, which will begin at 8 p.m. All are welcome, and there is no charge. An Oneg Shabbat (refreshments) will be served following the performance.
The group is back by popular demand after their outstanding performance at Beth El in 2010. Shir Appeal combines their love of music and performance with their appreciation for Jewish culture, singing in both English and Hebrew as they entertain their audiences. 4. CLASSES & LECTURES: Men's monthly breakfast and bible study
The Men’s Breakfast and Bible study at the meets the second Friday of each month. Be at church by 6:30 a.m. and you will be on your way by 8 a.m. In between you will enjoy a great breakfast and a stimulating biblical discussion led by Pastor McIvor.
