Food Drive Hosted By Sudbury Parks, Rec Begins In Early December
The food drive will benefit the Sudbury Community Food Pantry in the weeks before Christmas.

SUDBURY, MA — If you're going out shopping before Thanksgiving this week, think about picking up a few items for an upcoming food drive in Sudbury.
Sudbury Parks and Recreation will kick off the Christmas and Hanukkah seasons with a food drive for the Sudbury Community Food Pantry between Dec. 7 and 11.
The food pantry is accepting all types of packaged and nonperishable items ones that are in particularly high demand include: condiments like mayonnaise, salad dressing and ketchup; canned meat; pasta; peanut butter and jelly; cans of soup; macaroni and cheese; and canned beans and vegetables.

If you need food, the Sudbury Community Food Pantry is open on Tuesday and Thursdays with registration beginning each day at 11:30 a.m. The pantry will be open ahead of Thanksgiving on Nov. 24 and the Tuesday before Christmas, but not on Christmas Eve.
For the parks and recreation drive, you can leave donations at the Fairbank Community Center, 40 Fairbank Road, anytime during the week of Dec. 7 between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Items should be left in plastic or paper bags.
