Franco's Trattoria Tabbed as Having Best Sandwiches in Sudbury

Voters decide the Boston Post Road restaurant has the best meal in between two slices of bread.

On Monday we asked residents and business owners of Sudbury to vote for who serves the best sandwiches in town.

Voters raced to the poll quickly over the first few days, as we averaged about 100 votes per day.

When the poll closed at 9 a.m. earlier this morning, it was clear where locals prefer to buy their subs, grinders or hoagies.

With a whopping 209 votes,  has been tabbed the winner.

“This makes me feel really good,” said owner Franco Bruno. “It tells me we’re doing something right.”

Franco's offers casual, quality Italian food including pizza, salads and desserts. The large, affordable menu includes beer and wine. Delivery services are available.

Coming in a close second was with 161 votes.

Overall, there were 450 votes.
